I haven't called back yet sandy!And yes there are many smoking drivers here. There are many smoking walkers to. Sometimes when I walk down the street people want to know if I smoke and if I want to by some from them! There are very many independent smoke salesmen around the beach areas. They might sale more if they look a little more professional and cut off their dreadlocks and didn't wear as many beads! And Geez the cost of cigarettes must have went up a bit they can't even afford to roll the cigarettes. They sell the tabbaco in little baggies and they are a bit pricey too! They call it Ganjy or Gonja brand or something. They make me really hungry after I smoke some? Weird!

That sounds like a real bummer Papa. What happened? Did you ever hear back from the attorney? Drunk drivers suck and there are some here in San Diego. There are many smoking drivers too.

And maybe Doctor Phil also?

My alarm was just going off for, what looked to, be no reason. I think the sensors on it are a little sensitive. Another reason to make me more paranoid. I hope I don't break out the baseball bat on the next person who dings my truck? And being a carpenter I do carry a hammer within arms length in the vehicle. I don't know. Maybe I should give Docter Phil a call?

That's funny Crazylegs! I'll have to try that out. At least when I'm parked anywhere. When I'm driving I seem to have no problems. Except for the people around me in cars that don't seem to know what they are doing. That's one of the great things about where I live is there are so many different people from different countries that don't know how to drive a vehicle and they are all out there driving around and smacking into things.

When it rains here....I don't even know how to start complaining about that. It's like they have never seen rain before!

Did I happen to mention that last night I heard my (someone bumper bumped you) alarm on my car. It gives off four beeps repeatedly on my keychain alarm. I went out on my balcony to see the new neighbors just slid their car along mine. Quickly went down stairs. Of coarse the guy was checking out his car, not mine but he only scratched mine alittle, mostly left his paint on mine. Nice way to meet a new neighbor. I just told him forget about it. He didn't even say I'm sorry but I guess that had something to do with him not knowing how to speak English very good. I shook his hand and that was it. Tonight I saw him pull in tonight and run oversome of his boxes he put out at the dumpster! I may have to go to ask him if he has insurance soon!

Vespula! That is a really sad thing that happened to little Megan. And it is sad that things like that happen all the time to many loving family members losing the lives of family members all to soon.

I am so grateful that neither you nor any other innocent person was injured by that selfish substance abuser.  It is amazing that for all the talk and the tough ads about drunk driving in America, it is really a not a serious crime in many places.  In the town where I live, two party boys got drunk one Saturday evening recently and decided to run their SUV at full speed down the road next to the town library.  Since it was a dead end street, they apparently saw they couldn't stop in time, so they went off the road into a old tree.  They were both killed.  Their rich parents sued the city for having a dangerous tree by the road, and the tree was convicted and given the death sentence.  The city cut down the 150+ year old tree for killing two drunks in an SUV.  It gets worse. In the late 1990's, a little 9 year old girl was run over and killed when she stepped out of her school bus here.  Her young parents were struggling to have a respectable life and were not well to do.  They lived in a decent but less than desirable neighborhood.  Her murderer was a 19 year old community college co-ed who was high on drugs.  The junkie plead innocence because she did not know it was illegal to pass a stopped school bus with its sign extended and its flashing lights on.  Her rich parents successfully argued that she "really didn't mean to kill the girl and she's real sorry about it."  The poor parents were left with a dead child and a few thousand dollars of "we're real sorry " money.  I pass that little intersection on my way to my gym each day on purpose.  I look at that little cross and the cheap, artificial flowers the family and neighbors still put out there.  And I cry and say a little prayer for Megan, who was murdered.  And I wonder if the rich junkie tramp who killed her still roams the highways, ready to kill again, and be "real sorry."
